In the UK Amazon still seem to be fairly good, the last 3 orders I have made arrived within 7 days. So I cant really complain.

Geez, that’s ridiculous that an order for three books should take over two weeks to arrive! I hope they show up soon. I’d I guess I won’t be ordering any books from Amazon.com this holiday season!

I will share everyone’s woes about Amazon’s slow shipping, but I presume all of us are referring to the “free Super Saver shipping”? Because despite the fact that sometimes I have to wait quite a while for my stuff (although sometimes stuff does still come super quick – I ordered a vacuum recently that came within 3 days!), I am extremely happy that Amazon continues to offer FREE shipping at such a low threshold of $25 – I really don’t know any place else myself that offers a bajillion products that ship free for spending only $25. I just make sure I order my stuff well in advance of when I need it, but I really can’t muster a lot of anger about their slowness when they’re giving it to me for free, esp in this economy. My 2 cents.

It’s always hit or miss when you do business on both Amazon and Ebay. You just have to hope that you get a good, on their toes seller that is serious about what they’re doing! I once waited nearly a month for something. Gave that seller a scathing review and of course, will NEVER use them again!
