Truth in Advertising

Supposedly, the United States has laws governing advertising, frequently referred to as “truth in advertising” laws. I am here to expose the refusal of the United States to enforce those advertising laws. Snake oil abounds, people!! And in my usually charming and light-handed manner, I shall show you how the world would be if there REALLY was truth in advertising for all the crap we see on the Internet and elsewhere. It’s the painful truth, I know. But someone’s got to do it.

I’ve talked to some guys who really think women in porn videos are enoying themselves and WANT TO BE THERE. It is just laughable.

People will believe anything when a lie solves their moral dilemmas.

Thanks for your comments, folks! Yes, despite the biting sarcasm, the messages behind these “ads” are indeed true! What boggles my mind is how so many idiots buy into them!
