One day when we had jury trials (the parking lot was always full on those days) I was running late and the only place left was a handicapped one. I didn't realize it was one until I got out and saw the faded blue and yellow. I didn't want to take that from someone who was truly handicapped so I got back in my car and went and parked across the street. When I was walking back into the other parking lot, I saw a police officer, who wasn't handicapped in the slightest, park in it. I was ticked the rest of the day, first for the handicapped person that would have to cross traffic and second for the reason if I had done that, the same cop would have gladly written me a ticket.
