Maybe you could try getting a marcher’s whistle and if you here one of the telemarketers on the phone, blow that whistle! Otherwise, get yourself on the “Do Not Call” list by going to the Internet. It works pretty well and keeps those calls to a minimum.

Oh, those calls are so annoying! Unbelievable you got on in just 3 hours after changing your number.

If you happen to have a computer with a modem in it you can set this http://www.phonetray.com/ up and use it to “ZAP” the calls i have it set up on my phone line for much the same reasons the do not call list makes things worse if you ask me. I downloaded the free version of it and it works fine.
