The Plan to “Save” the Media’s Financial Crisis!

Sue the bloggers!

Yes, that is actually a “plan” to “save” the media’s financial crisis! “Improving the media,” and “telling the truth,” didn’t make the list, folks! Their scheme is to SUE us! And for what?! Why, for “copyright infringement,” that elusive, amorphous, wonderful magical mix of legal nonsense that changes every couple of decades!

It USED to be that “copyright infringement” meant that one person stole the works of others and claimed it as their own. You know– like, steal the top secret plans of the inner workings of a PS3 and sell it as something you yourself created. Today, “copyright infringement” is the mere passing along of information! Such as, copying and pasting from a news story online to “prove” a point or to quote someone. That’s copyright infringement?!?!?!??! IDIOTS. I’d posted about this before– I KNEW this was coming! You can’t even HUM a SONG on YouTube without being slammed.

I would love to copy and paste the news story from Wired regarding this “discovery” of how to “save” the media’s bankrolls… but I may get sued for copyright “infringement”! So what’s a blogger to do? Go and look for it yourself.

From Unruly to Dangerous

Kids these days. Holy cow. Look at this news story!

Security guards posted at Buffalo city pools after rowdy teens pull in lifeguard

BUFFALO — Armed security guards have been posted at public pools in Buffalo after a lifeguard was pulled into the water by rowdy teenagers and other unruly behavior prompted safety concerns for parks employees.

The city’s eight public outdoor pools were shut down last Thursday after fights broke out and a locker room was vandalized.

At one pool, a 16-year-old lifeguard says she was yanked by her ankles into the water when he tried to restore order. She says she struck her head on a drain and then was repeatedly dunked by several teenagers until another lifeguard rescued her…. read rest of story here.

These aren’t “rowdy” teens. This is getting dangerous now.

I hope that lifeguard and others have plenty of term life insurance. A CONCUSSION they gave her! They nearly drowned her!!!! This is unconscionable. And it isn’t just a bunch of unruly kids fooling around– this is a plague, circulating through the youth like an infectious disease. It’s enough to warrant SECURITY GUARDS being posted!! I hope you social engineers are happy! This is the kind of generation you’ve got because you all wanted to be “free” from moral restraints and “religion.” Shame on you for ignoring what wise men before us have said:

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other. -John Adams

Before any man can be considered as a member of civil society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe. -James Madison

We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings that except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel. -Benjamin Franklin

Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime & pure, [and] which denounces against the wicked eternal misery, and [which] insured to the good eternal happiness, are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments. -Charles Carroll, Signer of the Declaration

Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars…The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and cherish them….Let it simply be asked, “Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert?”…And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds…reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. -George Washington

Differing Opinions, BAD; Porn, GOOD

:duncehat:
WHAT kind of IDIOTS are in our government, will someone please tell me?? These people are so stupid, their brains are leaking from their noses. That, or they are tyrannical, wicked, control-freaks. You choose. Probably both. Just because someone has an online college degree doesn’t make them SMART.

The government is going to block “controversial websites.”

So much for freedom of speech, eh?

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is blocking certain websites from the federal agency’s computers, including halting access by staffers to any Internet pages that contain a “controversial opinion,” according to an internal email obtained by CBS News.

The email was sent to all TSA employees from the Office of Information Technology on Friday afternoon.

It states that as of July 1, TSA employees will no longer be allowed to access five categories of websites that have been deemed “inappropriate for government access.”

The categories include:
Chat/Messaging
Controversial opinion
Criminal activity
Extreme violence (including cartoon violence) and gruesome content
Gaming

The email does not specify how the TSA will determine if a website expresses a “controversial opinion.”

Oh it’s a GOOOOOD thing they’re still allowing cartoon violence, gee! (P.S. What the heck are they DOING with “cartoon violence” and “gaming” on federal agency computer’s anyway?!?

And does anyone see a big problem here– namely, that porn is not “controversial” content?! HELLO!?!!? They are banning “controversial opinion” but not porn?!? Everyone knows that porn is very prevalent among federal agency computer use. Ohhh but THAT’s OK! It’s not “controversial” like those Tea Party kooks who are always quoting George Washington and waving the flag! Dangerous!

IDJITS.

Seniors Told They Can’t Pray Before Meals

I am APOPLECTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is insane!!!!!

Seniors eating meals in the state of Georgia have been told that they cannot pray before they eat! What the heck?!?!?! WHy not?!

…the meals they are contracted by the city to provide to Ed Young visitors are mostly covered with federal money, which ushers in the burden of separating church and state.

LIELIELIELIELIELIE!!! :rage:

Will someone show some backbone and go kick those idiots in the butts? Please?! Do I have to EXPLAIN this all AGAIN?! Don’t these idiots EVER LISTEN?! Do I have to draw a diagram or show a slideshow to get these jerks to reason?! Their stupidity knows no bounds whatsoever.

1. There is NO separation of church in state in the Constitution!! The whole concept is ILLEGAL, STUPID, INSANE, and WICKED! It’s a way to keep the Godly people quiet so that the power-mongers can have their way!

2. The seniors can’t pray over FEDERALLY-PAID for food?!?!!?!?!??!? How stupid is that?

3. Who pays for the food, anyway? No, it’s not the Federal Government! It’s the SENIORS! Yes, the seniors and the other taxpayers of this country! The Feds have NO right to TAKE our money for food, and then turn around and tell people what they can and cannot say before they eat it!

You do realize that these power-mongering tyrants are laughing all the way to the bank. They think the American people are SO STUPID. And you know what– if nothing is done about such horrible, gross breaches of our liberties– then we really ARE stupid, and deserve everything we get!

Hating Goes Mainstream?!

What a dumb news “story.”

Hating the government finally goes mainstream

Three years ago, the Republican establishment piled scorn on the presidential candidacy of Ron Paul.

Today, he is in a statistical tie with President Obama in 2012 polling. His son, an ophthalmologist who has never run for elective office, is well ahead of not only the GOP’s handpicked candidate for Senate in Kentucky but also both Democratic contenders — all statewide officeholders.

What happened? Did America suddenly develop an insatiable appetite for 74-year-old, cranky congressmen from Texas? Is the gold standard catching on?

Paul will not likely be the next president. And his son still faces the most arduous part of his journey as Democrats spend millions to paint him as soft on defense, lax on drug enforcement and too radical on welfare programs.

But there’s no doubt that hating the government and the powerful interests that pull Washington’s strings has gone from the radical precincts of the Right and Left to the mainstream.

If that is not the stupidest, r-wordest, most idiotic drivel! You know what the truth really is? The government being HATEFUL has gone mainstream! The government is just BEGGING to be hated! Why else would these idjits continually, decade after decade, tax us to the gills, pass laws that we have to obey but they don’t, get away with literal murder and theft, lie like rugs, and flip us off when we complain.

I’m not the one who’s hating here! BIG BROTHER GOVERNMENT is the problem- they’re being hateful! On purpose!

A Silly Exercise

Haha. That Lawrence Katz can be SO funny! Too bad nobody listens to him.

“I just think it’s a silly exercise” counting jobs, Katz said.

The numbers are inherently inaccurate, he said, because we’ll never know how many jobs would have been created or lost without the stimulus. To do so, we’d need a control group, say giving stimulus money to North Carolina but withholding it from South Carolina.

“Obviously, that’s not something we can do,” Katz said. “We’ve only got one draw of history.”

That’s an “old” quote (January of this year).

I agree! Trying to count how many jobs have been “saved” or even “created” is SUCH a silly exercise! So why is government insisting that doing this and that “saves” and “creates” jobs? If it was truly SO silly, wouldn’t you guys all quit talking about it? What I understand is– you government control freaks throw around the term “create jobs” when it’s convenient to SELL and MARKET an agenda you have, but when we look around for evidence (since we do, after all, PAY for all this “job creation”), it’s suddenly SILLY! Ha hah hah! Funny, guys!

“Now, if you hear some of the critics, they’ll say, well, the Recovery Act, I don’t know if that’s really worked, because we still have high unemployment,” the president said in Nashua, NH on February 2, 2010. “But what they fail to understand is that every economist, from the left and the right, has said, because of the Recovery Act, we’ve started to see at least a couple of million jobs that have either been created or would have been lost.”

Oh yeah? Then how do you explain this stuff?

Personal Income Drops Across the Country

Personal income in 42 states fell in 2009, the Commerce Department said Thursday. Nevada’s 4.8% plunge was the steepest, as construction and tourism industries took a beating. Also hit hard: Wyoming, where incomes fell 3.9%.

Incomes stayed flat in two states and rose in six and the District of Columbia. West Virginia had the best showing with a 2.1% increase. In Maine, Kentucky and Hawaii, increased government benefits, such as unemployment insurance and Social Security, offset drops in earnings and property values.

:rippaper:

These people are JOKES. They’ll sell their souls for a dollar, and then try to sell ours from under us, too. This isn’t a GAME, you Washington degenerates. The people of the United States are not a Nintendo Wii game, you jerks. You want to toodle around with quack policies and goofy socialist-style experiments? You wanna wreck your life? Go ahead, whatever. But LEAVE ME ALONE! I thought this was supposed to be the land of the free!
