I can’t copy and paste directly from the news story, because I may be slammed with “copyright infringement” for passing information along… but the basics of the story is that the tax increases that President Bush stifled during his reign and going to crop to the surface under President Obama’s reign. And the Democrats are very happy to see the taxes come back. This is BAD NEWS for average Americans. We’re going to to be CLOBBERED with taxes. Tax tax tax tax. Taxes on all income, on capital gains, on dividends, on estates… oh and there’s also all that money we have to dump into Social Security and Obamacare and the Bush Senior Drug Law…

wow, thinking about all these taxes is… taxing.

And guess whose going to enforce all these new taxes, now that the country is over its head in choking debt?

That bastion of all-American kindness and care, the IRS.

Canada is sure looking nice this time of year, don’t you think?

I got this from the PatriotPost humor email… OOOOOO this is SO BAAAAAD. But it’s SOOOO GOOOOOOD.

I recently submitted a building permit application for a new house.

It was going to be 100 ft. tall and 400 ft. wide with 9 gun turrets at various heights and windows all over the place and a loud outside entertainment sound system. It would have had parking for 200 cars and I was going to paint it snot green with pink trim.

The City Council told me to forget about it.

So, I sent the application in again, but this time I called it a Mosque.

Work starts on Monday.

Facing billions of dollars in losses the post office is considering all options in its effort to cut costs. So, the commission that oversees the postal service and the post office’s Inspector General are asking for suggestions from the public.

Send your ideas to the postal regulatory commission at prc.gov or the postal inspector general website at blog.uspsoig.gov.

Actually, this is pretty cool. I’m glad they are asking for input instead of treating us like peons or criminals under security cameras. The post office is ragged on by everybody, but so few people have any constructive ideas on how to help solve their problems. This is supposed to be OUR postal service, not the government’s who so graciously dole it out to us, right?

Well, I will be making this suggestion to the Post Office:

Don’t look to the bottom rung (i.e., the carriers, and eliminating delivery days) to fix your financial problems. Look to the TOP rung– look at the administration and the bloated bureaucracy at the top. The Postal Service is one great big upside-down pyramid. It’s top heavy. Start to condense jobs and eliminate over-lapping duties, and for God’s sake, get rid of the waste. For example, you do not need three bosses to oversee one post office. There are too many layers of administration. This is why government and public education are so costly, as well.

Plus, I give you my advice for FREE.

And it’s good advice!

Hating the government finally goes mainstream

Three years ago, the Republican establishment piled scorn on the presidential candidacy of Ron Paul.

Today, he is in a statistical tie with President Obama in 2012 polling. His son, an ophthalmologist who has never run for elective office, is well ahead of not only the GOP’s handpicked candidate for Senate in Kentucky but also both Democratic contenders — all statewide officeholders.

What happened? Did America suddenly develop an insatiable appetite for 74-year-old, cranky congressmen from Texas? Is the gold standard catching on?

Paul will not likely be the next president. And his son still faces the most arduous part of his journey as Democrats spend millions to paint him as soft on defense, lax on drug enforcement and too radical on welfare programs.

But there’s no doubt that hating the government and the powerful interests that pull Washington’s strings has gone from the radical precincts of the Right and Left to the mainstream.

If that is not the stupidest, r-wordest, most idiotic drivel! You know what the truth really is? The government being HATEFUL has gone mainstream! The government is just BEGGING to be hated! Why else would these idjits continually, decade after decade, tax us to the gills, pass laws that we have to obey but they don’t, get away with literal murder and theft, lie like rugs, and flip us off when we complain.

I’m not the one who’s hating here! BIG BROTHER GOVERNMENT is the problem- they’re being hateful! On purpose!

Regarding that “Christian” “militia” group in Michigan that was “raided” recently– dudes, you can’t DO stuff like that! Holy cow!

An indictment unsealed on Monday accused them of planning to kill a police officer in Michigan and then ambush the funeral with improvised explosive devices to kill more police. The defendants were preparing to fight authorities from fortified and booby-trapped positions, the indictment said.

Members of the Hutaree believed the attacks would “serve as a catalyst for a more widespread uprising” against the U.S. government, the indictment said.

Knuckleheads.

Listen– it’s a bad idea to “take back your country” with explosives, hello!! If you’re going to take a country, do it like Congress does– re-interpret the laws, send kids to public schools where they won’t dare question authority or be educated about freedom, and dump flouride in the water to make the population docile. That’s how tyrants really go about it!

P.S. I think the federal government has a very weak case against these people in Michigan, anyway. What laws did they break? Owning guns? Thinking “bad” thoughts about the government? Since when is that a crime????

People– I live in the stupidest state in the union– yes! It’s even worse than California! Because in California, at least you have fruits and nuts! Here. we have CONTROL FREAKS!

Our state is going bankrupt. The government is totally corrupt. The government is slashing everything, and they’re coming up with billions and billions of new taxes to *try* to pay the bills. OK OK– I exaggerate. The government isn’t slashing EVERYTHING. Their cushy government jobs, with paid vacations and health care plans are all intact. I stand corrected.

But is our government concerned about which foreign country will buy us out to put us in the black ink again? NO! They are concerned about SALT! New York State wants to outlaw SALT!

“No owner or operator of a restaurant in this state shall use salt in any form in the preparation of any food for consumption by customers of such restaurant, including food prepared to be consumed on the premises of such restaurant or off of such premises,” the bill, A. 10129 , states in part.

The legislation, which Assemblyman Felix Ortiz , D-Brooklyn, introduced on March 5, would fine restaurants $1,000 for each violation.
