Oh Alex, Great One come to Enlighten Us!

Yes, I know about Christmas, too. DUH! But at least for Christmas, people are HAPPY and think about Christ and peace and love while celebrating Saturnalia! On Halloween, it out-and-out devil adoration.

So you celebrate Halloween, pagan or no. Do you celebrate Christmas, too?

I hope a similar post is put up for Christmas since Christmas has its roots in paganism. Since the 24th of December of every year is a pagan holiday celebrating the alignment of the Earth, Sun, and the center of the Galaxy. The date of Christ's birth was fudged to coincide with this alignment and keep pagans happy.

Keep your grumpy Halloween rhetoric, the rest of us will go have fun.

Hi Crabby,I'm with you on this one. Just retired to the Philippines this past July and thought I would escape the Halloween crap. Well, they had the Halloween stuff in all the big shopping malls here, and my twin nieces even had a Halloween party at their high school (but they have some "volunteer" teacher from America that gets paid, how does that work? so I figure that is the force behind the party.)

No trick or treaters, though. People are just trying to feed their kids here let alone buy candy to pass out. Great post!
