It’s a crying shame, the amount of criminals in the world today. The skags practically come out of the woodwork to rob you blind; a local news story says that home break-ins are on the rise because of the bad economy and because the price of gold has skyrocketed (almost $1K per ounce!). I say “balderdash” to that- break-ins are on the rise because crooks are jerks and people are dumb. Who in their right mind would have expensive valuables just laying around and not get a security system?! 
The home owner who leaves his home unprotected does so at great risk, me thinks. All it takes is one jerk in a ski mask to give you a good reality check. Or a heart attack.
